Our natural tendency is to drift, to slowly resort back to what is easy and immediately gratifying. From time to time God calls us back to him. It is always effortful to bear out against the drift, but that is the call. We need to reassess and recalibrate our habits and priorities. We need to nestle back into God's presence, his love,his provision and his call upon our lives again.
Lord, please give me grace to hear you in this time, and to respond to your voice with conviction and in loving devotion.
